Happy Thursday, y’all! It’s finally here! Week 1 of the Better Homes & Gardens One Room Challenge is in full swing… and I'm admittedly a virgin. So, time to reveal my mood board for this project! I’m so excited to work on our powder room this month and bring it from drab to fab with some pops of color, pattern, and texture.
The Game Plan
Rip up the old linoleum tile and replace with fresh, white hexagon tile… (unless there’s some fabulous hardwood we discover underneath! Our house was built in 1925 so we shall see! I'm not feeling good about it though.) Prime the walls and paint white. Hand paint the green wallpaper inspired motif. Update sink. Swap out the dated chrome and porcelain knobs for modern brass fixtures. Bring in some rattan shades for the scone. Add fresh monogrammed hand towels in bright colors. Top it all off with an antique mirror and English horse prints. Sounds like a plan, right?!
