While brainstorming ideas for my son's nursery, I knew I wanted the room to be green. And I knew I wanted to use this Schumacher Pointers fabric in Sky Blue.
When I think of a boy's room, I usually think animals - jungle or domesticated.
In this case, I decided to go with a very traditional, Southern motif - hunting dogs.
The Schumacher Pointers in Sky Blue is accented by Sister Parish fabric and monogrammed pillows. The stars in the Sister Paris wallpaper are mirrored in the Moravian star light fixture.
In my opinion, a bedroom is not complete unless it has a wonderful antique chest of drawers. Here, I chose a beautiful tiger maple piece that really pops against the green paint color. We saturated the entire room, floor to ceiling, in Pesto Green from Behr. With so many odd angles in this room, the monotone walls and ceiling make the space seem more expansive.
The crib is from Davinci. The vintage monkey lamp was sourced from Chairish.
